Create and Edit Contingency Tasks and Activities

You can create contingency tasks (DOPs, Raps, etc.) and activities within the "Timeplan" section. This can be done either when initially creating the task or by editing it later.

Creating a Contingency Task:

  1. Begin by adding a new task.

  1. When entering details about the task, look for the "Type" option. The default setting is "Normal." Click here to change it to "Contingency."

Editing the Task Type:

  1. Go back to the Timeplan and select "Quick Edit."

  1. Change the task type to "Contingency" for the selected task, and then click "Save."

When you change the type of a task, all its associated activities (children) will automatically inherit the same type. If you want to change the type for just one activity, you can do so as follows:

Editing an Activity:

  1. Follow the same steps as for a task. Go to Timeplan, select "Quick Edit," and change the type for the specific activity you want to update.
