Create a Task
In this article, you will learn how to create a procedure from the beginning
- Select correct well from the left side menu
- Go to Timeplan
- Select design mode
- Here, you have three alternatives: Add Phase, Add Phase from Library, and Add Phase from Template:
- Phase = operation type, i.e. Drilling or Completion
- Click "Add Phase" to start from the beginning. Fill in all necessary fields, and remember to click "Save."
- To add a phase from the library, click "Add Phase from Library." Find the phase you want and click "Save."
- To add a phase from a template, click "Add Phase from Template." Select the template you want and click "Add Selected Template."
- Now that you've created a phase, it's time to proceed with the next step. While still in the 'design' mode, simply click the arrow icon to continue. Here, you'll find three options once more: 'Add Task,' 'Add Task from Library,' or 'Add Task from Template.'
- To create a task from scratch, just click on "Add Task." Fill in the name, type, and task code, and remember to click "Save." If you want to add more, click "Add Task" again.
- To add a task from the library, click "Add Task from Library," then select the correct task from the dropdown menu.
- To add a task from a template, simply click "Add Task from Template" and select the template you want to use.
- Now that you've added the phase and task/procedure/DOP/RAP, it's time to fill it with activities. Activities can be added in two ways:
- Still within Timeplanner, you can choose between "Add Activity," "Add Activity from Library," or "Add Activity from Template." This functions similarly to when adding tasks. When adding an activity, fill in the name and activity code.
You can input multiple activities at once by clickin *Add activity" again, or click "Save" after each one. Remember to always save your changes.
If you need to add a new activity or delete an activity, click on the three dots on the right side.
- You can also add activities under "Procedures," where you also input more information about the activities, including steps, checklists, documentation, attachments, preview, and history.
To add more activities here, click on the three dots on the right.
Here, you can also edit and delete the activity.
