Procedure 2.0 Release Notes 0.5

This update brings improvements to screen layout, enhanced list formatting, and bug fixes to make your experience more efficient.

What's new?

  • Extended Numbered List Types – More formatting options for numbered lists.
  • Screen Ratio and Content Compression Updates – Improved layout adjustments based on screen size.
  • Bug Fixes – Resolved issues with procedure visibility and tab switching.

New Features

Extended Numbered List Types

You can now use more types of numbered lists:

  • a, b, c, … (lower-case letters)
  • i, ii, iii, … (lower-case Roman numerals)
  • I, II, III, … (upper-case Roman numerals)

This gives you more flexibility when formatting lists and makes it easier to follow different documentation styles. Just select the desired list type in the editor’s list tool.

Screen Ratio and Content Compression Updates

We have improved how content is displayed on the Activity tab, adjusting the layout based on screen size:

  • Default layout: Left column (step description) takes 60% of the space, right column takes 40%.
  • Smaller screens: Columns adjust to equal width (50%/50%).
  • 1400px or smaller: The right column moves below the left column.
  • Text cannot fit within its column, a horizontal scroll appears at the bottom of the step.
  • The horizontal scroll bar is fixed at the bottom of the step or screen in both view and edit modes.
  • In edit mode, the "Update" and "Cancel" buttons stay fixed with the scroll bar.
  • If the right column is empty, horizontal scrolling appears only if the description takes up the full width.
  • The "Add field" button remains visible but disabled when all step fields are already added.

Bug Fixes

  • Assigned procedures no longer appear in the Available Procedures list for the next or new Execution Order.
  • Unassigned procedures now remain visible even when changing tabs.
