Tooltip Behavior Improvements
Tooltips now provide a more intuitive user experience with these enhancements:
Improved Timing: Tooltips display after a short delay to ensure they appear when needed:
- A hover effect activates within 0.1 seconds of the cursor entering a target area.
- If the cursor stays still, the tooltip appears after 0.3–0.5 seconds and disappears within 0.1 seconds after leaving the target area.
- Tooltips now disappear immediately when the cursor leaves the hovered item, even if the cursor moves over the tooltip itself. This prevents tooltips from blocking access to nearby elements.
- Tooltips will not appear if the corresponding content is already fully visible, eliminating unnecessary clutter.
These refinements make tooltips more responsive, less intrusive, and easier to use.
Enhanced Highlighting for Managed Forms
When using the application, specific forms now feature improved visuals to help users clearly identify the areas being updated:
Forms with Highlighting:
****
****The following forms will be highlighted during add or update actions, drawing attention to the section being worked on:
- Activity
- Step
- Check
- Documentation Section
- Attachment
Exception:
The highlight does not appear in Quick Edit Mode.
This enhancement reduces the risk of confusion, ensuring users stay focused on the relevant area during updates.
Freeze Procedure Title for Better Context
To enhance navigation, the procedure title can now stay visible while scrolling, ensuring you always know which procedure you're editing:
Persistent Header Option:
When scrolling down a procedure, the title is not displayed by default. However, you can easily turn it back on by clicking the fixed tabs toolbar at the top of the screen.
This feature provides better context while working on lengthy procedures, helping you stay oriented without needing to scroll back up.
Reorder Risks and Parameters
Users can now easily customize the order of risks and input/ report parameters within a step. This enhancement allows for greater flexibility and organization, helping you tailor the sequence of attributes to match the specific needs of each step. To reorder, open the Step Edit Form, adjust the sequence as needed, and save your changes.
Improved Font Visibility in Dark Mode
To enhance readability and ensure a comfortable user experience in dark mode, we have updated the font and highlight behavior:
Dynamic Font Colors:
- In dark mode, the default font color changes to white for better visibility against the black background.
- In light mode, the default font remains black as usual.
- The default font remains black when highlighted regardless of the application theme.
- Font colors in preview mode remain unchanged.
These updates make reading and working in dark mode more convenient, especially when interacting with highlighted text.
Navigation from Execution Order to Procedure
Users can now quickly navigate between execution orders and their assigned procedures for a smoother workflow:
Quick Navigation:
- From the Execution Order Page, users can access the list of assigned procedures.
- Clicking on any assigned procedure redirects the user to the Procedure Page.
- Navigation is available to all users, regardless of their permissions (viewer, commenter, or editor).
- If you access a procedure via an execution order, the Back button on the Procedure Details Page will return you to the original list of assigned procedures.
This improvement simplifies navigation and ensures you can move between related information efficiently without losing your place.
Correct Spelling
Users can now quickly fix spelling errors identified by the spell checker:
- When the spell checker detects an incorrect word, it will underline it for easy identification.
- Right-clicking on the highlighted word opens a menu with suggested corrections.
