Handling of Last Omitted Activity in "Actual vs AFE" Calculations

We introduce an enhancement that improves the calculation of "Actual vs AFE" for omitted activities, specifically when the omitted activity is the last one in the timeplan.

Feature Details:

Background: In our application, omitted activities have historically been counted towards "Actual vs AFE" if there is an activity following the omitted one that has actual time. However, this logic had a limitation when the omitted activity was the last one in the timeplan since there were no activities with actual time following it.

**New Exception: **With this update, we have introduced a new exception to the rule. Now, if an activity is omitted and it is the last one in the timeplan, it will count towards "Actual vs AFE," just like any other activity.

This enhancement ensures a more accurate and comprehensive "Actual vs AFE" calculation, even in scenarios where the omitted activity is the last one in the timeplan.

White Space and Brushup Enhancements

We introduce a series of enhancements that focus on optimizing white space and visual elements at different levels within our application. These improvements are designed to make your experience more streamlined and visually appealing.

Enhancement Details:

**Remove Unnecessary White Space: **We have trimmed down most of the unnecessary white space, providing a cleaner and more efficient view at the procedure level.

Procedure Level:

Collapse/Expand All Button: In quick edit mode, you can now take advantage of a new "Collapse/Expand All" button. This feature simplifies the process of managing multiple elements within a procedure. When editing a step and clicking 'Collapse All,' it collapses all activities without steps or with steps that are not editable. The editable activities will remain open.

Activity Level:

Activity Title: The activity title is now presented with a bold and larger font size, enhancing its visibility and importance.

**Remove Risk and Mitigation Icon: **The previous risk and mitigation icon has been replaced with a dedicated "Activity Risk" icon, ensuring a more intuitive user experience.

Step Level:

**Step Title: **The step title is no longer bold, and both the step number and title share the same color, creating a more balanced and consistent visual presentation.

Add Border Around Steps: Each step now features a border to improve separation and provide a clearer distinction between steps.

**Remove "Step Description" Title: **The title "Step Description" has been removed to reduce clutter and streamline the view.

**Add Border Around Description Field: **A border has been added around the description field, enhancing the focus on step content.

**Time Placement: **Time information is now placed right next to the Status or comment icon for quick reference.

On Edit - Step Name: During the editing process, the step name input field is now positioned next to the step number, improving data entry efficiency.

Step Description Box Height Optimization and Dynamic Expansion

With this update, you'll be able to see more steps at once when in quick edit mode, making your workflow more efficient.

Enhancement Details:

Optimized Box Height: In response to user feedback, we have set the default box height to 200 pixels. This adjustment ensures that you have a comfortable viewing and editing experience in quick edit mode.

**Dynamic Expansion: **The step description box is now responsive, dynamically expanding when more than 200 pixels' worth of text is added. This dynamic expansion feature allows you to work with larger text content without feeling constrained by a fixed box height.

Create Budget & Add to Phase AkerBP

We introduce a significant enhancement to our Timeplanner, empowering users to create budgets and associate them with specific phases. This feature is designed to improve clarity, support batch drilling, and facilitate seamless budget management across multiple timeplans.

Enhancement Details:

Admin Section:

**Create Budgets: **Admins now have the capability to create budgets, providing a text-based identifier for easy reference.

**Edit Budget Names: **The admin section allows for the editing of budget names, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.

**Delete Budgets: **Admins can also delete budgets when needed, streamlining data management.

Timeplanner - Design Mode:

**Visible and Editable Budget Field: **The Timeplanner business and mode settings have been adjusted to make the Budget field visible and editable. This change enhances the user interface, allowing for more intuitive budget management.

Timeplanner - Design Mode (Phase):

Selecting a Budget: In design mode on Timeplanner, users can now seamlessly select a budget from the quick edit menu or the edit drawer specifically on a Phase. This streamlines the process of associating budgets with phases.

Changing Budgets: Users have the flexibility to change the budget associated with a phase directly in the Timeplanner design mode.

Selecting Empty Value: The update enables users to select an empty value from the budget dropdown, offering greater flexibility when managing budgets.

These enhancements aim to provide a more comprehensive and user-friendly budget management experience within our application.

Performance Enhancement in Quick Edit for Procedures

We announce a performance enhancement in the Quick Edit function within Procedures. Users have reported slowdowns when dealing with a large number of activities, and we have taken decisive action to optimize the Quick Edit experience for improved efficiency.

Enhancement Details:

Improved Quick Edit Performance: With this update, you will experience a noticeable improvement in the performance of the Quick Edit function within Procedures, particularly when dealing with a substantial number of activities.

We understand the importance of a smooth workflow, and this enhancement is aimed at providing you with a more responsive and enjoyable experience within our application.

Spell Check Enhancement - Display Correct Spelling

With this update, you will now see the correct spelling of the word directly in the context menu, streamlining the correction process.

Enhancement Details:

Display Correct Spelling: In the context menu during spell check, the correct spelling of the misspelled word will now be displayed. This improvement ensures that users have immediate access to the accurate form of the word, making corrections more intuitive and efficient.

Bug Fixes:

We are committed to delivering a seamless experience, and we are pleased to announce the resolution of several issues and improvements to enhance your overall user experience

"Downloaded by.." Information: The "Downloaded by.." information, which temporarily disappeared from downloadable documents in reports, has been reinstated. You can now track document access and usage effectively.

**Latecomers Missing in Report View: **An issue where some latecomers were not appearing in the Report View has been resolved. All latecomers should now be accurately displayed.

Ziggy Error in AkerBP RAP: Opening RAP in AkerBP was resulting in a Ziggy error. This issue has been fixed, and you can now access RAP without any disruptions.

**Report View Crash with Missing Start Time: **The Report View in OPEN/RMS would crash if an activity did not have a start time, with an unhelpful error message. This has been addressed, and the Report View now handles such scenarios more gracefully. You will no longer encounter crashes, and the Home button functions as expected.

**Preview Display Issue: **When users entered the preview tab, they encountered a display issue where the preview was hidden by the sidebar. This is now fixed.

These bug fixes ensure a smoother and more reliable user experience within our application.

In conclusion, these updates are geared towards enhancing your experience with our application. From visual refinements to improved functionalities, our aim is to provide you with a more intuitive and efficient platform. Thank you for your continued support.
