In the following paragraphs, we will provide detailed explanations of these features, illustrating their content.
Timeplanner
Wellbore at the phase level in timeplanner
Users can now select wellbore at the phase level in Timeplan. Furthermore, if a wellbore has not been defined, it is possible to select an empty value from the dropdown.
Under the 'Design' section, clicking on a specific phase allows users to access the 'Edit Phase' option. Within this option, it is now possible to include a wellbore:
- Navigate to the 'Design' mode.
- Click on the desired phase.
- Access the 'Edit Phase' function.
- Within the editing interface, you can now assign a wellbore.
Procedures
Ability to mark step description and title without opening step in edit mode
This new feature allows users to mark (copy) step descriptions and titles directly from an editable step, without the need to open it in edit mode.
This enhancement streamlines the user experience by providing the ability to select and copy step descriptions and titles with ease. Whether you're referencing or sharing information, this feature simplifies the process:
- Access the desired step within the interface.
- Without entering the edit mode, simply highlight and copy the step description or title as needed.
Persist header collapsed or expanded in Procedure
With this update, the header state persistence feature allows the header to stay collapsed or expanded when navigating between tabs.
This improvement brings continuity and convenience to your workflow. Now, when you switch between different tabs within a procedure, the header's collapsed or expanded state remains consistent. You no longer need to manually adjust the header every time you move between tabs:
- Collapse or expand the header as desired.
- Navigate to other tabs within the same procedure.
- Notice that the header retains its previous state.
Alphabetic sorting of unit lists
Both input and report parameters feature an alphabetical sorting of unit lists.
This improvement simplifies your interactions by ensuring that unit options are presented in an organized and easily accessible manner.
Whether you are configuring input parameters or selecting units, you will find the unit list sorted alphabetically:
- Navigate to the input or report parameters section.
- Observe the unit list, now conveniently sorted alphabetically.
Background and text colors
These color options have been harmonized to align with the familiar palette available in Microsoft Word. As part of this enhancement, yellow has been designated as the standard background color, while red serves as the standard text color.
This enhancement brings consistency and familiarity to your experience, allowing you to seamlessly apply colors that are in line with industry-standard practices:
- Access the background or text color options.
- Observe that the available colors now mirror those found in word processing software.
- Yellow has been established as the default background color, while red is the default text color.
Step check is now visible in checklist tab under procedure
Now, when a check is added to a step, it becomes automatically visible under the appropriate role in the checklist tab within the procedure. Furthermore, any checks marked as completed within the checklist tab will be mirrored in the step, and vice versa.
This enhancement streamlines your workflow by synchronizing the step checks across different views, ensuring consistency and accuracy in your processes:
- Add a check to a specific step within the procedure.
- Navigate to the Checklist tab.
- Observe that the corresponding step with the check is now visible under the relevant role.
- If a check is marked as complete in the checklist tab, the step's check will also be updated accordingly, and vice versa.
Layout improvements
There are a few layout improvements made:
With this update, step content is now displayed in a two-column format.
This enhancement enhances your experience by providing a more visually appealing and structured presentation of step information:
- Access any step within the interface.
- Notice that the step content is now conveniently displayed in two columns.
With this update, each piece of field content is now enclosed within its own individual card.
This enhancement enhances your experience by offering a cleaner and more structured presentation of information:
- Access any field within the interface.
- Notice that the field content is now enclosed within a distinct individual card.
Unlike the previous solution, where specific fields were hidden behind an "Add Field" button, now all fields are readily accessible without any additional steps. This enhancement applies to various sections, including risk management, report parameters, responsible roles, input parameters, checks, and supplementary information.
This update aims to streamline your experience by eliminating the need for extra clicks or interactions to reveal specific fields:
- Navigate to different sections like risk management, report parameters, responsible roles, input parameters, checks, and supplementary information.
- Notice that all fields are now visible without the need to click an "Add Field" button.
In contrast to the previous version's 'expand' icon, empty fields now feature an 'add' icon.
This enhancement enhances your experience by providing a more straightforward and recognizable indication of where content can be added:
- Navigate to sections where empty fields are present.
- Observe that empty fields now display an 'add' icon instead of the previous 'expand' icon.
With this update, a counter is now displayed for each field, indicating the number of items contained. In cases where no items are present, the counter remains absent, signifying the absence of content.
This enhancement enriches your experience by offering a quick glance at the quantity of items within a field, thus aiding in data assessment:
- Access various fields throughout the interface.
- Observe the counter adjacent to each field, displaying the number of items contained within.
With this update, you'll notice a more optimized layout for smaller screens, where fields are positioned below the description field.
This enhancement ensures a consistent and user-friendly experience across different devices, accommodating varying screen sizes without compromising readability or usability:
- Access the platform on a smaller screen, such as a mobile device or tablet.
- Observe the responsive design in action, with fields neatly arranged beneath the description field.
Library
PDF export capability in procedure preview
With this update, you can now seamlessly export procedures to PDF format directly from the preview. This functionality empowers you to download a PDF version of the procedure for your convenience.
Furthermore, this enhancement offers advanced options to tailor your exported PDF to your needs. You can choose to include comments, checks, and attachments, allowing for a comprehensive representation of the procedure's content:
- Access Procedure preview.
- Observe the new 'Export to PDF' option.
- Customize your PDF by selecting whether to include comments, checks, and attachments.
