How to Use, Create, Edit, and Delete a Layout in Report View
In this article, we'll walk you through everything you need to know about customizing layouts in Report View. Whether you're looking to select an existing layout, design your own, make changes, or remove a layout entirely — we’ve got you covered.
🧭 Step 1: Use and Select Layout Settings
In the top-right corner of Report View, click the "Layout settings" button.
This will open a dialog where you can:
- Select an existing layout
- Edit or delete a layout
- Create a new layout
✨ Step 2: Create a New Layout
To create a new layout:
- Click "Create New Layout".
- Use the "Add/Remove Widgets" button to customize which widgets appear.
- Adjust the size and order of widgets to your preference.
- Rename your layout by clicking the ✏️ pencil icon on the left-hand side and giving it a clear name.
🛠️ Step 3: Edit an Existing Layout
To edit a layout:
- Select the layout you want to change.
- Click the "Edit" button.
- You’ll be taken to the same layout editor used when creating a new layout.
- From here, you can:
- Rename the layout
- Show or hide widgets
- Adjust widget size and placement
🗑️ Step 4: Delete a Layout
To delete a layout:
- Click the "Delete" button.
- A confirmation dialog will appear to prevent accidental deletion.
