Responsive Design
Our applications should also be user friendly on smaller, handheld devices, down to a 6” screen. This release is the first step towards this. The following releases will include landing page (Procedure overview) and a responsive design for the Procedure header, which is not included in this release.
Procedure Detailed View Enhancement
We introduce an enhancement to our application's Procedure Detailed View, making it more convenient and user-friendly.

Expand/Collapse Functionality: You can now expand or collapse each Documentation type to reveal or hide its information. This streamlines your access to specific content while keeping the view organized.
Empty State Message: In cases where no documentation is added to the Procedure, an informative empty state message is displayed, ensuring you are aware when no documentation is available.
Procedure Detailed View: Attachments Tab Enhancement
We introduce a significant enhancement to our Procedure Detailed View's Attachments Tab. This update enhances your ability to manage and interact with attachments, ensuring a seamless and responsive experience.
What's New:
Enhanced Attachment Support: Execution View now supports a wider range of file formats, including pdf, jpeg, jpg, and png, with a maximum file size of 10 MB. This means you can seamlessly upload and manage a broader variety of attachment types.
User-Friendly File List: Each attachment in the list is now accompanied by a corresponding application icon, making it easy to identify the file type.
Responsive Design: The Attachments Tab has been made fully responsive, catering to both mobile and tablet screens, ensuring that you can manage attachments on any device.
Intuitive Attachment Viewing: You can now preview PDF and image file formats directly within the application. This functionality provides a convenient way to view attachments without the need to download them.
Expanded Attachment Information: For each attachment, you'll find detailed information, including the file title, size, and date of attachment. This information helps you keep track of your attachments effectively.
Attachment Sorting: Attachments are sorted by date, allowing you to easily locate the most recent additions. You can toggle between descending (initial) and ascending date order to suit your preference.
Procedures 2.0 Integration: Contractors can view all attachments added to a Procedure via Procedures 2.0, ensuring a comprehensive view of relevant materials.
Attachment Count Display: A message above the attachment list displays the number of attachments found, providing an at-a-glance summary of the available materials.
Supported Formats: In addition to the newly supported formats, xls, xlsx, doc, and docx files are also available for download.
Efficient Viewing: Attachments of pdf, jpeg, jpg, and png formats can be viewed in detail within a separate pop-up, with the option to use the browser-native view for pdf files.
Procedure Detailed View: Checklist Tab Enhancement
We introduce a enhancement to our Procedure Detailed View, focusing on the Checklist Tab.
What's New:
Expanded Completion Options: Contractors can now complete checks when the respective Procedure is in Offshore Draft, Final Approved, AAR (After Action Review), and Completed stages, providing more flexibility in the workflow.
Checklist Counter: The Checklist Tab now features a counter that provides an overview of the total number of checks and how many have been completed, making progress tracking straightforward.
Checklist Elements: Each checklist item includes a Title Field and Description Field, providing clarity and context for each check.
Checklist Interaction: Contractors can easily check and uncheck elements in a Checklist, simplifying the management of task completion.
Checklist Categories: Checklists are now categorized into three types: During, Preparatory, and Trailing, helping contractors organize their tasks effectively.
Skipping Checks: Contractors have the option to skip checks when necessary, offering more control over the checklist process.
Link to Steps: Checks are now linked to Steps, enhancing the overall coherence of the workflow.
Comment Functionality: Users can add comments to checklists, facilitating communication and reference.
Responsive Design: The Checklist Tab is now fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience on both mobile and tablet screens.
Enhanced Commenting Features
We introduce a significant enhancement to our application's commenting capabilities, making collaboration and communication even more seamless.
What's New:
Comments Everywhere: You can add and access comments for Procedures, Activities, Steps, Documents, and Checks. This means enhanced collaboration and communication across various aspects of your work.
Comment Icon and Counter: Look for the comment icon in the top right corner, which will display a comment counter, keeping you informed about the number of comments on a specific page.
Comments Panel: Clicking on the comment icon opens the Comments panel, providing an overview of comments related to a particular entity, such as a Procedure.
Navigation: Easily navigate through comment threads associated with Activities, Steps, Documents, and Checks directly from the Comments panel.
Adding Comments: You can now add comments to any entity from the input section at the bottom of the Comments panel. This streamlines the process of sharing thoughts and feedback.
Step-Specific Comments: The comment icon on Steps opens the Comments panel, displaying comment threads specific to that step. Similar behavior applies to Checks and Documentation.
Resolve and Unresolve: Users have the ability to mark comments as resolved or unresolved. This action is confirmed by a toast message, providing clear feedback.
Filter Resolved Comments: A convenient filtering option allows you to focus on resolved comments when necessary.
Comment Deletion: Users can delete comments, with the action confirmed by a toast message, ensuring control over your comment history.
Responsive Design: The commenting feature is responsive to mobile and tablet screens. In tablet view, the comments section overlays the main screen, while in mobile view, it appears as a pop-over from the bottom.
Deprecation of Activity Detailed View
In our continuous effort to enhance the user experience and streamline our application, we are making a change to the Execution view Procedure layout. As part of this update, we are deprecating the Activity Detailed View.
What's Changing:
Removal of Activity Detailed View: The Activity Detailed View will no longer be available within the Execution view Procedure layout. This change is aimed at simplifying the layout and improving the overall usability of our application.
Enhanced Logic for Completing Last Step in an Activity
We introduce an important update to our application's workflow logic, specifically addressing the completion of the last step in an Activity. With this enhancement, we've made the process more intuitive and resolved a logic breach that occurred when users chose not to complete the Activity.
What's New:
Seamless Activity Completion: When you complete the last step of an Activity, a new dialogue box will now pop up. This dialogue box includes the option to complete not only the step but also the entire Activity in one step, eliminating the need for an additional action.
Bug Fixes:
Access Denied Message: We have resolved an issue where users were encountering a 404 page with an active "Go to Projects" button. The expected behavior is that users should be informed of access denial. This bug has been fixed, and now you will receive the appropriate access denied message.
Layout Issue with Abandon and Complete Buttons: There was a layout issue with the abandon and complete buttons on steps, primarily affecting smaller screens. The abandon button was causing the complete button to have a line break. We have fixed this issue, ensuring that the abandon button is now located inside the triple-dot menu on smaller screens, as it should be.
With these enhancements, our application is better equipped to meet your needs for efficient procedure management. We're committed to continually improving our platform, and we hope you find these updates valuable. Thank you for choosing our application, and we look forward to bringing you even more improvements in the future.
