Execution View Release Notes 1.19
This release introduces improvements to Lessons Learned and Comments, alongside several technical fixes and bug resolutions to improve stability and user experience.
Improvements to Lessons Learned
The Lessons Learned feature has been redesigned. Instead of adding a lesson through the comment section, there is now a dedicated button on each step. A title is required when creating a lesson, while description and attachments are optional.
Comments Revamp
You can now jump directly to the section where a comment was made by clicking on its “origin.”
The comments section has also been updated to match the new design for a clearer and more consistent experience.
Technical Fixes
- Clear cache key on login: User cache keys are now cleared on login to prevent unwanted 401 errors.
- Updated packages: Packages have been updated for improved stability.
- Null operations and steps: The system now handles cases where a procedure has no operations or where operations have no steps. Instead of infinite loading, users see clear messages.
- Improved handling of dark colors: Dark mode readability has been improved by introducing a smarter color handling method based on HSL lightness values.
- Deployment dates: Deployment dates are now displayed correctly with proper formatting.
- Editor update: The editor has been switched to Huge, replacing the outdated TinyMCE version.
- Lessons Learned comment creation – Creating a Lessons Learned item in Execution View now automatically generates a related comment, ensuring other applications receive the information as expected.
Bug Fixes
- Comment icon on Activity level in Stage: The comment icon was incorrectly visible at the activity level in execution view. Clicking it opened the comment overview but did not allow adding comments, and the time icon overlapped with other icons. The comment option at the activity level has now been fully removed, as comments on activities are not supported in execution view.
- UI issue with Actual/Planned depth: Fixed a display issue where the Actual/Planned depth values were misaligned.
- PDF opening in browser: PDFs now download correctly and open directly in the browser as expected, without prompting the user to select an application.
- 404 error on Documentation tab: Resolved an issue where navigating to the Documentation tab
- incorrectly opened a 404 page.
