New Features
Highlight Description Text on a Step
A highly requested feature is now here: When working with long descriptions in a step, you can highlight specific sections to make it easier to focus on key details. This feature allows you to emphasize areas that need extra attention, improving the clarity of the task at hand.
To highlight text, simply select the portion of the description you want to emphasise within a step.
Keep in mind that if a revision is created and changes are made to a step, any highlighted text on that step will disappear when the new revision is approved.
- The highlighted text will be visible to all users.
- The highlighted text will not sync over to the operator, keeping the highlighting specific to the execution view.
- You can simply delete the highlighting by clicking the text and choosing this symbol:
This feature helps improve focus and clarity during execution.
Please note that highlighting is currently only supported on PCs, Macs, and similar devices. It does not work on iPads or other touchscreens, but support for this will be included in the next release.
Report Comments on Steps
The driller can now add operational comments during execution, ensuring all necessary information is recorded during procedures.
- Each step includes a new box labeled “Report Comments.” Clicking this box allows you to add comments with automatic timestamps.
- This will then get transfered to Execution log as a report line. Execution Log is our newest application connected to Execution View, where an automatic report will be generated from report comments. This is the first step in making your reporting easier and more automated. There will be a separate release note with more information about this as we get closer to production.
- Add as many comments as needed. Each comment will have its own timestamp and be organised in a scrollable list for easy review.
- You can also add parameters if needed
- Delete comments if necessary by selecting the three dots to the right of each comment.
- To save screen space, you can collapse or expand the comment box as needed.
Display Attachment Count
A new feature has been added to display the count of attachments next to the attachment section in Execution View, similar to how the number of checks are shown. The number of attachments will be displayed in parentheses next to the section where they are attached.
Change Logic of Check Counter on the Tab
The check counter in the Checks tab has been updated to display only the count of Preparatory checks, rather than the total of all checks (Preparatory, During, and Trailing). This change makes it easier to verify that everything is completed before the start of the procedure.
Restricted Start Time Changes for Single Plan Procedures
The ability to change the start time of a single plan procedure is now limited based on the procedure’s status.
- Start time can only be changed when the procedure status is Started or Under revision.
- Start time cannot be changed when the procedure status is Offshore, Final approved, or Completed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to set a time in the date picker.
- Fixed a bug that caused procedures with the Under approval status to be missing from the procedure list. Now, procedures from Procedure 2.0 will also be visible even when they are in the Under approval status.
