Execution View Release Notes 1.16

Welcome to release 1.16 of Execution View! Here’s what’s new:

  • Rig attachments for greater flexibility.
  • Depth recording improvements for streamlined documentation.
  • A more intuitive location for the “Preview Procedure” button.

Read on for more detailed explanations of these new features.

Rig Attachments

We’ve introduced a highly requested feature: the ability to add rig attachments during execution. Now, drillers can upload necessary documents that weren’t part of the original procedure.

  • Navigate to the Attachments tab to upload files. You can drag and drop, copy and paste, or use the “Browse Files” button.

  • Distinguish between original procedure attachments and rig attachments by checking the respective headers.

  • Rig attachments can be added after the procedure is signed. Note that only users with write access can upload attachments.

Depth on Step Improvements

We’ve made it easier to maintain accurate depth recordings throughout procedures.

  • When completing a step, the last recorded depth will now automatically populate in the depth field.
  • If drilling has progressed to a deeper level, you can easily update the depth manually.
  • This improvement ensures better reporting, even when multiple steps are completed at the same depth.

Relocated “Preview Procedure” Button

Finding and printing the “Preview Procedure” button is now more intuitive.

  • The button has been split into separate “Print” and “Download PDF” buttons and relocated to the header for easier access.
  • There is no longer a need to open the header to find it.
