Execution View Release Notes 1.10
In this release, we've introduced several enhancements to improve the overall user experience and functionality of the platform. These improvements address various aspects of usability and performance to ensure a more streamlined and efficient experience for our users.
Introducing Rig Step
Adding Rig Steps in Execution View
Driller can now add a Rig step while execution procedure in Execution View. A rig step can be an unplanned activity or delay, that does not require a new Procedure revision.
To add a Rig step, navigate to the Activity page or open the Activity form on the Procedure page.
Add step title and / or description and save.
The added Rig step will be displayed with a special rig icon, indicating it is a Rig step and not part of the signed Procedure received from Operator.
Driller have the ability to edit and delete Rig steps in Execution View, providing flexibility for necessary adjustments.
Rig Step added in Execution are also being sent back to the Operator’s Procedure authoring tool.
Reordering is possible for Not Started Rig steps, offering a drag-and-drop feature to relocate Rig Steps below Started and Completed Steps.
Rig Steps can be edited in any Procedure status except Completed/Abandoned.
Editing and deleting Rig Steps are only permitted for Rig steps that are not completed or abandoned.
Relocation of the Procedure Complete and Abandon Buttons
Based on your feedback we have relocated the "Complete Procedure" and "Abandon Procedure" buttons to the status dropdown in Procedure mode. This enhancement is designed to prevent accidental clicks during execution.
This is to be used if for some reason the Procedure must be Abandoned or fully Completed midst execution. Current workflow where when last step of last activity is completed, Driller will still be prompted to complete the Procedure.
New comment type: Lessons Learned
To better identify that a comment should be treated as a Lesson Learned, we are introducing a separate type of Comment called Lessons Learned.
When adding a comment, it will by default be listed as a Regular comment, to mark it as a Lesson Learned, simply select this from the comment type dropdown menu.
Comments tagged with Lessons Learned will be distributed back to the Operator as a Lesson Learned.
Download print preview of Procedure
As per your request, we are introducing download of print preview of Procedure in the Procedure header.
Simply press Download Procedure to open up a Print preview version of the current Procedure.
Introducing Wellbore as a filter option
We have expanded the Procedure filter options to include wellbore, should a wellbore be added on the Procedure.
Activity Notes (not relevant where Equinor is Operator)
If the Procedure contains additional notes from the Operator on the Activity (not step) these will now be displayed in a separate Notes component.
The Notes component will only be displayed to users if there are notes available for the activity, ensuring a clutter-free interface.
Opening page changed from "All Projects" to "All Procedures"
From "All Projects" to "All Procedures": The wording is updated to accurately reflect the content being displayed on the landing page, making it clearer and more intuitive for users.
Well Information in Procedure Details
In response to user needs, we're introducing Well name in the Procedure header.
Well Tag Display: Users will now be able to see which well the plans they've opened are tagged with directly within the Procedure details.
Were Equinor is operator: Now Possible to Set Procedure Start Time in the Execution View
To address the challenge of wrongly added start times for Drilling contractors communicating with Equinor, we're introducing a solution that enables Drillers to set start time directly in Execution View. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and control over procedure execution.
When Driller starts a new Procedure he/she will be prompted to set start time. By default this pop-up window will show the current time and date, but with the possibility to change date and time back in time.
To start execution, simply press Confirm.
Planned Time Adjustments
We introduce an improved Planned Time display in the Procedure header, bringing greater clarity to the allocation of AFE and DSV (benchmark times). This enhancement ensures a more transparent representation, eliminating any potential confusion arising from mixed AFE and DSV values.
Planned Time in Procedure Header:
- AFE: XX h (Showcasing the total AFE time coming from the Operator’s Timeplan)
- DSV: XX h (Illustrating the total sum of DSV time from all Activities within the current Procedure)
Planned Time on Activity:
- AFE ONLY: If an Activity has AFE but no DSV time, the display will read: "AFE: XX h"
- AFE AND DSV: If an Activity has both AFE and DSV, the display will feature only DSV: "DSV: XX h"
- **No AFE or DSV: **In cases where an Activity lacks both AFE and DSV, Planned Time will remain empty.
Bug Fixes:
Improved Text Visibility in Test Execution View in dark mode:
- Case 1: Resolved an issue where copied text in the Test Execution view displayed black text on a black background, causing readability issues. This fix ensures that text is now clearly visible when passing through the API and displayed in the Execution view.
- Case 2: Enhanced clarity by adjusting the hyperlink colour attached to steps to be less vibrant, improving readability for users.
Resolved 400 Error When Opening Incorrect Links:
- Users no longer encounter a 400 error when attempting to open incorrect links.
Fixed Inability to Close Comment Drawer:
- Users can now successfully close the comment drawer on small screens after opening it.
Refined Timeplan and Well Filter Functionality:
- Timeplan and Well filters now consider user access levels, displaying only relevant options based on user permissions.
