Create Masterplan Draft

In the Drafts tab, you can create and manage drafts: a flexible space where you can freely plan, move, and edit without affecting the actual Masterplan. Once you are satisfied with your changes, you can choose to publish them. When you open the tab, you will see all drafts that are public or created by you.

Creating a Draft

To create a draft, simply click “Create new draft.”

A form will open with the following options:

  • Draft Name: A mandatory field. You can include numbers, letters, and special characters.
  • Privacy State (Public or Private): Determines whether the draft is visible only to you or to all editors. This setting can also be changed later.

Editing a Draft

Once a draft is created, you can make any changes you like. All changes are saved automatically. When you are done editing, you can either apply changes to the Masterplan, or leave the draft and come back to it later.

Managing Drafts

In the list of drafts, you can:

  • Make a draft private or public
  • Apply changes to the Masterplan
  • Rename the draft
  • Delete it

If something is missing or there’s an error in your draft, you will be notified. When the system creates a draft, it copies all placeholders, projects, notes, drill stops, and unassigned projects along with their data. Users are notified if there are up-to-date drafts within the masterplan, helping you keep track of which drafts need to be transformed to outdated status after changes are made to the masterplan.

Note that once a draft is created, any new changes made to the real Masterplan will not be copied into the draft.
