Checks - General information
In this article you find some general information about the Checks tab.
- Checklist Categories: Checklists are categorized into three types: During, Preparatory, and Trailing, helping contractors organize their tasks effectively. Each checklist item includes a Title Field and Description Field, providing clarity and context for each check.
- Logic of Check Counter on the Tab
The check counter in the Checks tab displays only the count of Preparatory checks, rather than the total of all checks (Preparatory, During, and Trailing). This makes it easier to verify that everything is completed before the start of the procedure.
- Links to Steps in Checklists
- Comprehensive Check Visibility: You can view not only the checks associated with the Procedure itself but also checks attached to individual steps. This means you get a complete overview of all checks in your workflow.
- Links to Steps: For checks associated with specific steps, we've added a convenient link that takes you directly to the corresponding step. This provides you with quick access to the step details, allowing you to understand which step the check is referring to in the Procedure.
- Completion Options: Contractors can complete checks when the respective Procedure is in Offshore Draft, Final Approved, AAR (After Action Review), and Completed stages.
- Signing Checks
Contractors can easily check and uncheck elements in a Checklist, simplifying the management of task completion. We have included a function requiring you to sign the checklist whenever completing or signing. This way, you will always know who completed each checklist, with their name added as a signature along with the date and time. Users can reset the check, which will remove the signature and time.
- Skipping Checks: Contractors have the option to skip checks when necessary, offering more control over the checklist process.
When skipping a check, you have the option to add a comment explaining why you skipped it.
- Comment Functionality: Users can add comments to checklists, facilitating communication and reference.
