# Change Status of Procedure


1. To change status on a procedure, click on the status on the header

3. Click "Change Procedures status to Offshore Draft"

|| When the procedure is in 'Offshore Draft' it is visible on the rig

4. Click the "Confirm status change" button

5. Now the status is changed. You may either change the status back to "Onshore Draft" or "Sign the procedure"

6. Click the "Sign Procedure" button to sign it. Select your role in the dropdown box and click "Confirm Approval"

7. Now the status will show the date and time it was signed.

8. When the procedure has all neccecary signatures, it is ready for final approval. Click the "Change procedure status to Final Approved"

**Note: A Procedure cannot be changed to "Final Approved" stage if some of the activities in the Procedure do not contain any steps**

9. Click "Confirm Status Change"

|| Note: When you have changed the status to "Final Approved" it can not be edited anymore. To edit it, you have to make a new revision. This is how you do that: [How to make a new revision](/en/article/how-to-make-a-new-revision-1csys0x/)
